Our story
Our journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when healthcare practices were facing staffing disruptions, heavier workloads, and an urgent need for reliable remote support.

What began as a temporary solution soon became an essential part of daily practice operations. Healthcare providers discovered that experienced remote professionals could successfully manage patient calls, appointments, insurance verification, prior authorizations, documentation, billing support, and other administrative responsibilities.

As these partnerships continued beyond the pandemic, Remote Medical Assistants was developed to provide healthcare practices with dependable, long-term remote staffing support.

2020
Our Beginning in U.S. Healthcare
We began during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing remote staff to U.S. healthcare practices when they needed support most. What started as a temporary solution became a lasting, efficient staffing option for practice owners—and the foundation of Remote MA.
2022
Expanding Beyond Healthcare
Referrals from our healthcare clients opened doors to other industries. We expanded into real estate, solar, construction, HVAC, roofing, and more, while continuing to serve U.S. healthcare practices.

Agalon Outsourcing
The company was named Agalon Outsourcing, headquartered in the Philippines. As a BPO company, Agalon Outsourcing became the home of our staffing services for U.S. businesses across healthcare and other industries. Our Philippine headquarters is where we manage and support the teams serving clients.
2025
Remote MA, Dedicated to Healthcare
As our U.S. healthcare accounts grew, we created Remote MA to focus exclusively on remote staffing for medical practices. From front desk support to insurance verification, scribing, and billing, Remote MA brings these services together under a dedicated brand managed by Agalon Outsourcing.
